Another fantastic year of Thriving Together is in the books for GSBA. Last Wednesday, December 11, the annual GSBA membership and community luncheon to celebrate GSBA’s sponsors, staff, board members, and volunteers who made it all possible took place at Seattle’s McCaw Hall.
Lauren Du Pree of A Sensible Theatre Co. blew the audience away with her solo performance.
GSBA President & CEO Louise Chernin boasted about the recent success of the $1.6M raised at last month’s Equalux Scholarship benefit and later toasted to a Happy 2020!
Martha Davis was honored for her 12 years of service to the GSBA board.
Andrew Held of JP Morgan Chase and Co (the presenting sponsor) also spoke.
This year’s panel, “Changing Power Dynamics – a conversation between womxn CEO’s of the Puget Sound” featuring Margaret Meister (President & CEO of Symetra), Phyllis Campbell (Chair, Pacific Northwest JP Morgan Chase & Co.), Sharelle Klaus (CEO of Dry Soda Co.), and moderated by Maria Chavez Wilcox (CEO of YWCA Seattle/King/Snohomish), closed the event.
